Lunch Menu
Hailey School wants to give children a positive eating experience that encourages good table manners and dining etiquette. All classes eat together in the school hall on mixed year group tables to develop social skills and a sense of community. We actively encourage all our children to have school lunches as research shows that they are beneficial to children’s health, social development and learning.
Our food is cooked fresh on the premises, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients which provide an exciting menu for the children to enjoy. The cost is £2.55 a meal and meals should be paid for through ParentPay. A link to our menu can be found below.
Our food is sourced through Oxfordshire County Council.
If parents want to provide packed lunches, then these can be brought into school. However, we do encourage parents to observe healthy eating guidelines. Please note that we are a nut free school.
Universal Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for free school lunches. The school fully supports this initiative; encouraging children to take up their free school meal.
Snacks
The school understands that healthy snacks can be an important part of the diet of young people and can contribute positively towards a balanced diet.
