Ofsted Inspection Report – January 2025

Following our inspection by OFSTED 7th and 8th January 2025 we are delighted to be able to share the final report with you.

The Inspection Team recognised the many strengths of the school, and we are very proud of the positive outcome. This is a testament to our pupils who embody the best of our school and the dedication and commitment of our staff, governors and families.

The inspection team said that pupils are proud to be part of the school where the values of love, compassion and respect are embedded in daily life.

Behaviour at the school was judged to be outstanding: ‘Behaviour in lessons and pupils’ attitudes to learning are exemplary’ with ‘classrooms characterised by high levels of trust’ which is ‘a significant strength of the school.’

Our curriculum was deemed to be ‘inspiring and engaging’ so pupils ‘are eager to learn new things and are clearly excited when talking about past learning.’

Inspectors found that ‘pupils learn well in core subjects due to an effective and well delivered curriculum in reading, writing and mathematics’ and that they are inspired to work hard knowing that ‘teachers have high expectations of what they can achieve’. Inspectors said that pupils ‘with special educational needs were identified early and that they benefitted from the adaptations teachers provided that ‘help them to learn well’.

Pupil personal development is strong. The wider curriculum covers a range of topics, and this learning is ‘reflected in the kindness they show their fellow pupils’.

The inspectors recognised that leaders ‘share a desire to continually improve’ the experiences of the school community and we are pleased that this was also recognised.
