Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, it is a pleasure to welcome you to Hailey CE Primary School.

There is something very special about Hailey School and it is an absolute privilege to be the Headteacher here. I am incredibly proud of our engaged pupils, supportive parents, dedicated staff, forward thinking governors and proactive Friends of Hailey School. This is a place where everyone works in collaboration to make Hailey School a happy, vibrant and safe place to learn and thrive.

Our staff want our children to be happy and excited about coming to school, to learn and to develop their skills and knowledge across a broad spectrum. We have an engaging curriculum that enables children to develop both knowledge and skills. We care about the health and wellbeing of every child and want them to feel safe and secure. We positively encourage them to take risks and to not be afraid of making mistakes but to use them positively and embrace learning.

At Hailey School, the staff and governors work in partnership with families. We value the contributions of a child’s whole family and are committed to building strong relationships with the community. We are very happy to talk with you about any aspect of school life and your child’s learning; parent and school partnership is paramount to a child’s learning. We pride ourselves on being open and approachable and look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful school.

Our Vision

We aspire to be a thriving school where the whole community can flourish as individuals. We want everyone to be lifelong, resilient learners who believe in themselves, achieve their potential and make a positive contribution as global citizens. Our aim is to create a nurturing environment that embraces diversity and enables everyone to demonstrate love, compassion and respect.
